1958年10月，在北医三院的建立之初既成立了中医针灸科。吕伯华主任首任科主任。此后历经毛肖三、李鸿翔、卢国勋、聂有智等主任及现任李东主任的优化管理，中医科逐渐发展壮大，由成立之初的6名医师发展到当前的34名。现中医科由本部及机场院区两部分构成，2019年10月在机场院区成立中医病房，设有床位15张。科室现有主任医师5人，副主任医师4人，主治医师13人，住院医师12人。具有博士后学位2人，博士学位17人，硕士学位10人。日门诊量700-760人次，年门诊量超过27万余人次。2011年获批北京地区综合医院示范中医科；2015年成为全国综合医院示范中医科建设单位。

In October 1958, the Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Department was established in the beginning of the establishment of Peking University Third Hospital. Professor Lv Bohua was the first section director. Since then, with the optimal management of professor Mao Xiaosan, Li Hongxiang, Lu Guoxun, Nie Youzhi and the current director Li Dong, the TCM Department has been gradually developing and growing, and has 34 doctors now. At present, TCM Department is consists of the headquarter and the airport hospital area. In October 2019, TCM ward with 15 hospital beds was established in airport hospital area. There are 34 medical workers in TCM Department, including 5 chief doctors, 4 deputy chief doctors, 13 attending doctors, 12 residents. There are 2 postdoctoral degree, 17 doctoral degrees, 10 master degrees in TCM Department. The number of outpatient ranges from 700 to 760 person-time per day, and the number of outpatient over 270,000 person-time per year. In 2011,it was approved the demonstration department of TCM in Beijing District General Hospital. In 2015, TCM Department has been approved as the construction unit of national general hospital model TCM department.

Clinical development and plan

中医组：通过加强中医特色专病建设，突出中医药在优势病种和环节上的作用。经过六十余年的发展，已建立中医药介入辅助生殖、不孕不育、月经病、甲状腺疾病、乳腺疾病、慢性胃炎、类风湿性关节炎、肿瘤、慢性阻塞性肺病、中医情绪管理、中医美容专台及慢性病管理等专病专台。

TCM group: By strengthening the construction of special diseases with Chinese characteristics, the role of Chinese medicine in the dominant diseases and links will be highlighted. After more than 60 years of development, it has established specialized disease platforms for TCM Intervention in assisted reproduction, infertility, menstrual disease, thyroid disease, breast disease, chronic gastritis, rheumatoid arthritis, tumor, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, TCM emotion management, TCM beauty and chronic disease management.

针灸组：针炙组是以针灸经络理论与现代光电物理诊疗技术相结合的诊疗团队，经过几十年的发展，采取综合诊疗措施治疗颈椎病、腰椎病、关节痛、中风后遗症、面瘫、三叉神经痛、头痛、呃逆、耳鸣、肥胖、遗尿等取得了良好的疗效，并建立专病专台。

Acupuncture group: Acupuncture group is a diagnosis and treatment group combining acupuncture meridian theory with modern photoelectric physical diagnosis and treatment technology. After decades of development, comprehensive diagnosis and treatment measures have been taken for cervical spondylosis, lumbar spondylosis, joint pain, sequelae of stroke, facial paralysis, trigeminal neuralgia, headache, hiccup, tinnitus, obesity, enuresis and so on, and good results have been achieved, and a special disease station has been established.

科研成果

2010年李东主任主持的首发基金《中药针灸介入辅助生殖技术提高孕育率的临床随机对照研究》是中医科首个省部级课题，同年史成和主任医师发表中医科第一篇SCI论文。近年来，在课题及论文数量及质量上实现了质和量的突破。中医科自2015年至2020年初，主持国家自然科学基金4项，北京市自然科学基金1项，首都临床特色专项基金1项，首发基金1项，北京市中医管理局科技提升专项1项，北京大学医学-信息科学联合研究种子基金1项，首都社会经济发展研究所基金1项。发表统计源论文60余篇，SCI 论文10余篇。2013年成立北京市中西医结合生殖医学研究所，是中医科参与建设的首个市级科研平台。1人担任北京市中西医结合生殖医学研究所副所长、北京大学医学部中西医结合学系副主任，3人在国家级及北京市级学会担任副主任委员7项，3人担任常务委员、理事8项；11人担任委员、理事职务30余项，科研工作突飞猛进。

Scientific Research Achievements

In 2010, director Li Dong got our first project supported by Special Fund for Health Development Research of the Capital named “randomized controlled trial of TCM combined with acupuncture and moxibustion assisted reproduction improving the pregnancy rate”. Meanwhile, professor Shi Chenghe published the first SCI paper in TCM Department. From 2015 to now, our department has presided 4 National Natural Science Funds, one Beijing Natural Science Fund, one Capital Clinical Characteristic Special Fund, one Special Fund for Health Development Research of the Capital, one Special Science and Technology Promotion Project of Beijing administration of TCM, one Seed Fund for Joint Research of Medicine and Information Science of Peking University, and one fund from Capital Institute of Social and Economic Development. Moreover, our department has published more than 60 medical papers including more than 10 SCI papers. In 2013, Beijing Reproductive Medicine Institute of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine was established. Our director served as the deputy director of Beijing Reproductive Medicine Institute of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine, and the deputy director of the Department of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine of Peking University Medical Department. Three members of our department served as the vice chairmen in 7 national or Beijing municipal societies, three members as the Standing Committee members and council members in eight societies, 11 members as the committee members and council members in more than 30 societies. The scientific research work in our department has got rapid progress.

教学及健康宣教

在教学上，中医科承担了北大医学部护理专业及8年制临床医学的中医理论授课、临床带教、住院医师规范化培训及外单位进修培训等教学任务。自2007年以来，深化8年制医学生的中医教学改革，制定教学大纲，建立起中医多维式教学模式和多站式考试模式加强了医学生对中医药理论的理解和兴趣，推动中西医结合人才的培养。多人获得北大医学部和北医三院优秀老师。

同时，中医科拥有较强的对外教学实力，已对来自美国、德国、日本、西班牙、巴西等国家800余人次的进修生、留学生进行教学培训。1997年起与西班牙塞维亚黄帝针灸协会建立合作，定期举办交流活动。

Teaching and Health Education

TCM Department is responsible for the following teaching tasks of nursing profession and the clinical medicine of 8-years program in Peking University Medical College: TCM theory teaching, clinical teaching, resident standardized training and advanced training in other units. Since 2007, we have deepened the teaching reform of TCM for the clinical medicine of 8-years program, formulated teaching syllabus, established multi-dimensional teaching mode and multi station examination mode of TCM, strengthened the understanding and interest of medical students in TCM, and promoted the cultivation of talents in integrated TCM and Western medicine.Many of them have been awarded excellent teachers of Peking University Health Science Center and Peking University Third Hospital.

At the same time, with a strong foreign teaching strength, TCM Department has trained more than 800 international students from the United States, Germany, Japan, Spain, Brazil and other countries. Since 1997, we have established cooperation with Huangdi Acupuncture Association of Serbia in Spain, and held regular exchange activities.

健康宣教也是中医科的重点工作之一，在推进市民对中医药健康认知上发挥了重要作用。通过进校园，下社区，每年举办多次健康咨询和义诊活动，自2010年至2019年共有110余人次到基层开展中医诊疗服务，义务诊治患者7000余人次。同时，依托“首都中医药治未病健康促进工程”及“北京中医药健康乡村/社区建设”两项目，通过线上线下进行健康宣教，惠及12000余人。

Health education is also one of the key tasks of TCM department, which plays an important role in promoting the public's awareness of TCM health. Through entering campuses and communities, a large number of health consultations and voluntary clinic works held every year. From 2010 to 2019, more than 110 person-times TCM diagnosis and treatment services were conducted in basic communities, and more than 7000 patients were treated voluntarily. At the same time, on the basis of the following two projects: "capital TCM disease prevention and health promotion project" and "Beijing TCM health village/community construction", more than 12000 people benefited from health education online and offline.

专业组建设

1.中医药介入辅助生殖技术：我院辅助生殖技术处于国内领先地位。经过多年的临床科研观察，在辅助生殖前后，辅以中药、针灸可提高成功率，已形成独特的中医诊疗体系。以李东主任为中心，成立了中医药辅助生殖临床及科研创新团队，并取得了一定成果，获得多项课题，发表文章数篇。在此基础上，2015年4月成立北京市中西医结合生殖医学研究所，开展中西医结合疑难生殖内分泌疾病的诊治和研究。

TCM intervention assisted reproductive technology: Assisted reproductive technology in our hospital is in the leading position in China. After years of clinical research and observation, before and after assisted reproduction, supplemented by TCM and acupuncture can further improve the success rate, and has formed a unique diagnosis and treatment system of TCM. With director Li Dong as the center, a clinical and scientific research innovation team of TCM assisted reproduction has been established and achieved some results, obtained a number of topics, published several articles. On this basis, Beijing Reproductive Medicine Institute of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine was established in April 2015, to carry out the diagnosis, treatment and research of the difficult endocrine disease of reproduction in combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.

2.慢性萎缩性胃炎：慢性萎缩性胃炎是一种常见病，多发病，多由饮食不节、情志失调等引发。通过中医辨证，予以中药治疗可明显改善患者症状及其预后。同时依托我院国家重点临床科室——消化科的先进检查，对疗效进行评价，进一步提升中医的诊疗水平。

Chronic atrophic gastritis: Chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) is a common disease, which is often caused by eating disorders and emotional disorders. Through syndrome differentiation of TCM, TCM treatment can significantly improve the symptoms and prognosis of patients. At the same time, relying on the advanced examination from Digestive Department, the national key clinical department in our hospital, we can evaluate the curative effect and further improve the diagnosis and treatment level of TCM.

3.中医中药治疗皮肤病：中医认为“有诸内者，必形于外”，因此皮肤病是身体内部脏腑气血功能紊乱或病邪侵袭人体的外在表现。在治疗上我们采取内治、外治或内外合治的方法针对不同的皮肤病采取灵活的治疗措施取得较好的临床疗效。

Treatment for dermatosis with traditional Chinese Medicine: According to TCM motto of "those with internal must form outside", dermatosis is the external manifestations of qi and blood function disorders in internal organs or invasion of pathogenic factors to the body. We adopt internal treatment, external treatment or integrated internal and external treatment to treat dermatosis and achieve better clinical effects.

4.针药并用综合治疗颈肩腰腿痛：我科依托我院国家重点学科——骨科和运动医学的优势，针对无需手术的颈肩腰腿痛,如腰椎间盘突出、颈椎病、关节炎、肩周炎、网球肘、运动损伤等，创建专项治疗小组，形成颈肩腰腿痛治疗中心，发展特色治疗。

Comprehensive treatment of TCM and acupuncture for neck, shoulder, waist and leg pain: On the basis of the national key discipline in our hospital--the Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Department, TCM department has established a special treatment group and formed a treatment center to offer characteristic treatment for patients with neck, shoulder, low back and leg pain but dispense with surgery, such as lumbar disc herniation, cervical spondylosis, arthritis, scapulohumeral periarthritis, tennis elbow, sports injury, etc.

5.中医美容：中医美容专业不断发展，开展了中药面膜治疗痤疮、面部色斑、穴位微创埋线治疗肥胖症等，发展形成高肥胖多囊卵巢综合征患者辅助生殖成功的新技术，并获得医院新技术业务批准。

TCM Cosmetology: TCM Department keeps developing the beauty specialty of TCM, and has carried out TCM mask for the treatment of acne and facial stain, and acupoint catgut embedding therapy for obesity, etc.. Moreover, a new technology to improve the success rate of assisted reproduction for patients with high obesity polycystic ovary syndrome, has been approved by the hospital′s new technology business.

6.中医情绪管理：运用中医天人整体观、精气神、阴阳五行理论，根据中医脏腑情志论，情绪气化论、药物升降沉浮论，结合当代的社会心理学研究成果和人文医学研究成果，考察患者的社会角色，在操作层面上，融合叙事医学的内容，用中医药文化指导和中医药物疏导患者的行为和心理，在治疗过程中，充分发挥医学共情作用，以达到对患者的整体状态综合治理，提高临床疗效。

Emotion management of TCM: According to the TCM theory of correspondence between human and universe, holistic conception, essential qi and mind, yin-yang and five elements, viscera and emotions, emotions and qi transformation, ascending-descending-floating and sinking of drugs, combined with the current research results of social psychology and humanistic medicine, we investigate the social role of patients, guide the patient's behavior and psychology using TCM culture and drugs and by the means of narrative medicine. We give full play to the role of medical empathy in the treatment, so as to improve the clinical effects.

7.干燥综合征

干燥综合征(SS)是一个主要累及外分泌腺体的慢性炎症性自身免疫病，又名自身免疫性外分泌腺体上皮细胞炎或自身免疫性外分泌病。除口、眼干燥表现外，患者还可出现全身症状，如乏力、低热、关节痛等，亦可导致肺、肾损伤。申洪波团队长期从事于本病的研究与临床，有着丰富的治疗经验，通过辨证论治，取得较好疗效。．

Rheumatoid Arthritis：Sjogren's syndrome (SS) is a chronic inflammatory autoimmune disease involving exocrine glands, also known as autoimmune exocrine epithelial cell disease or autoimmune exocrine disease. In addition to dry mouth and eyes, patients can also have systemic symptoms, such as fatigue, low fever, joint pain, etc., which can also lead to lung and kidney damage. Shen Hongbo team has been engaged in the research and clinical of this disease for a long time, and has rich experience in treatment. Through syndrome differentiation and treatment, he has achieved good results.

8. 慢病管理专台

针对糖尿病、高血压、慢性阻塞性肺疾病等成立慢病管理专台，结合“首都中医药治未病健康促进工程”及“北京市中医药健康乡村（社区）建设项目”，对慢性病患者进行健康宣教、用药及生活指导，增加患者中医药防治知识，提升自身疾病管理能力。

Chronic Disease Management Desk：A special chronic disease management desk was set up for diabetes, hypertension and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, in combination with the "capital health promotion project of traditional Chinese Medicine for Disease Prevention" and the "Beijing Rural Health (community) construction project of traditional Chinese Medicine" , to carry out health education, medication and life guidance for patients with chronic diseases, to increase their knowledge of TCM prevention and treatment, and to improve their ability of disease management.

9.中医特色病房（首都机场院区）

根据医院整体发展布局，结合中医科诊疗特色，中医病房重点开展脑卒中、骨科、运动医学疾病的保守及术后康复治疗。采用中药、针刺、拔罐、艾灸、推拿、药浴、熏蒸、离子导入、理疗等综合治疗方法，突出中医外治优势。

Characteristic ward of TCM：According to the overall development layout of the hospital, combined with the characteristics of TCM Department, the TCM ward focuses on the conservative and postoperative rehabilitation treatment for patients with stroke, orthopedics and sports medicine diseases. Comprehensive treatment methods including TCM, acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion, massage, medicine bath, fumigation, iontophoresis and physiotherapy were used to highlight the advantages of external treatment of TCM.
